Why Do We Need This Product?
We are on a mission to make the great outdoors even greater for an upcoming event at the end of May 2026 with our Pet Visiting volunteers and their ambassador pets with a little help from you! We’re looking to bring in 10 picnic tables to create welcoming spaces for people (and their furry friends) to gather, relax, and connect after their program pack walk event. Our Pet Visiting Volunteers provide opportunities for children, youth, students, and seniors to interact with animals in ways that promote learning and well-being. Volunteers and their pet ambassadors, such as dogs and cats, visit classrooms, student centres, long-term care homes, hospices, and hospitals throughout Hamilton and Burlington to create fun, safe, and educational experiences for community members. If you would like to be part of supporting, connecting and celebrating our Pet Visiting volunteers and their pet ambassadors, we’d love your help in making this happen.
We are also hoping to secure a $2500 sponsor for the full event please and thank you!
